For how much I should insure my buildings and contents?
Buildings – This should take into consideration the cost of completely rebuilding your home, including building costs (to include site preparation work), architect, surveyor and legal fees, and any other associated costs. To find out the value of rebuilding your home, you can refer to your lender’s valuation report, or survey you had done when you took out your mortgage.
For Buildings & contents insurance we offer products from a selected panel of providers.

Life and Protection
Life Assurance - Life Assurance can be customised to cover your every requirement. You can buy level cover, or decreasing cover. An explanation of both options is below.

What is Level Life Assurance?
Level Life Assurance works by paying out a fixed cash lump sum in the event of your death, or diagnosis of a terminal illness during the plan term, in exchange for regular payments from you.

Level Life insurance is designed to help protect your family’s future lifestyle. The plan has no cash-in value at any time.

What is Decreasing Life Assurance?
Decreasing Life Assurance can help protect loans by paying out a cash lump sum designed to help pay off the outstanding amount in the event of your death.

The amount of cover reduces in line with your outstanding loan amount, so you are only ever paying for the cover you need. The plan has no cash-in value at any time.

Protection – Critical Illness Cover
Cover for Critical Illness Why have a Critical Illness Plan? - A Critical Illness Protection Plan provides cover if you are diagnosed with one of a range of serious illnesses. It is designed to provide a lump sum (or income, or a combination of both) aimed at easing the financial worries of the individual covered.

The plan will pay out as long as you survive for 28 days after diagnosis of the illness has been made by an approved medical practitioner (approved for diagnosing that particular illness).

Critical illness cover is available as a plan in itself and also available as an additional benefit on other plans (for an extra cost).
The Critical Illness Protection Plan has no cash-in value at any time. If you stop making payments, the plan and cover will end and you will get nothing back.

The plan pays out for critical illness only. It will not pay out on death.

Income Protection Insurance
So how would you and your family cope if you were unable to earn an income owing to accident, sickness, or involuntary unemployment?

How much would your standard of living fall and, more importantly, would you and your family survive? While there are various forms of cover available, one in particular offers a partial level of protection at an affordable cost. This is Income Protection Insurance where cover is provided against accident, sickness, or involuntary unemployment which stops you from working. The Income Protection Insurance cover pays out a monthly benefit usually up to a maximum period of 12 months, although some income protection insurance covers will provide a longer maximum benefit period.

For Accident sickness & unemployment insurance we offer products from a Selected panel of providers.
